What is one thing people love and do more than anything else?  Baseball.  That is why it is our pass time.  I am loving it and so is about a billion or so other people.  What makes it so special well, I can only answer for me but that is what I will do.

       The ball is the first thing because it is most important.  Without it you have no game.  What I like about the ball is that you can just toss it around with one hand.  Not with a basketball or football can you really do this.  That makes it easy to just sit around with a baseball and have a good time by yourself if you don't have enough people to play a real game.  It is a perfect size and that is not an argument.

       Another great thing is the stadiums, expecially the domes.  Some of them you can peel the dome back and put it back if it rains.  No other sport has that like hockey.  Because of the shape you can actually catch foul balls.  You can't catch footballs.

       That is enough of the parts of the game because there is a part of the game that is the game if you know what I am saying.  People on TV say it is a game of inches and it is.  There are so many close plays because of inches.  Think of all the homeruns that aren't homeruns because they just need a couple of more inches.  But think about all the homeruns that are like way so many more inches than they needed to be.  That is our next point.

        There is a lot of talk about steroids.  It is not part of the game.  The game is about emotion not drugs and if you don't think that you can kiss my ass.  You play the game because you love it and if you get caught up in drugs and steroids it is because you are weak and not for this game.  If your are not playing it for love then you need to look at both sides and ask am I playing it the right way because I love it or the wrongs ways.

        There is a lot of loosing in baseball and a lot more than other sports.  A season is more than 150 games and so you are going to loose a lot of games even if you are a good team even the best.  This is good because it makes you be tougher about it and make you want to get better no matter what it takes.  It is a good lesson because it tells you never to give up because if you blow one game there is always another one to jump on and succeed it.

       Baseball is not only the best sport but the best thing.  I use to like football but after the giants lost the super bowl I started liking the yankees.
