Title: Which Video Game is Better?

Purpose: To find out which video game, Timesplitters 2 and Halo 2, are the better first person shooter game for the Xbox.  (Hey Mr. Mallard, this is definitely a science project because the games take place in the future and one of the weapons is a plasma gun).

Hypothesis: I think Halo 2 will be better because it is more popular and I like it more.

Experimental Procedure: Plan on playing different levels and maps, comparing guns, scenary, characters, graphics.  Will look for believabilty and note ease of controls.  My little brother David will be a test subject.

Materials and Equipment:  Went to Blockbuster and rented Timesplitters 2 (there were 3 copies).  Looked for Halo2 and all copies were  checked out but it was cool because I already own it.  Am using my Xbox with one wired controller and one wireless.  One bandaid for David's thumb.  A tv.  Electricity.

Data: Started playing Halo 2 first and it was pure domination early.  David didn't stand a chance really for my favorite weapon the Sniper Rifle.  His favorite weapon was the Needler, which is really a little gay in my opinion.  It's purple and shoots a lot of little spikey things (needles).  My favorite character is Jiralhanae and his is Sangheili.  We both agreed that our favorite level is Backwash because it's small and is also in Halo 1.  The scenerary gets a 10 in both our books.  As do the graphics.

Now for Timesplitters 2.  I did not much like this game.  I mean, it's cool, I guess.  Controls were difficult for me, but not for David, who kept finding me when I respawned and shoot me in the head, which I think is cheating.  My favorite gun was the flame thrower and David's was the Homing Missle Launcher, which I could never find in the levels we played.  It was neat that you could make your own map and so that was our favorite one.  The characters were funny, they have monkeys that can help you win!  They attack the other person.  It's neat.  The graphics were really good.

Conclusion: As I hypothesized, Halo 2 was the better game because it was easier to control and the Sniper Rifle is the best weapon between both games.  I give it a 10 and Timesplitters 2 a 6.  David gives Halo 2 a 10 and Timesplitters 2 a 11, which I told him he couldn't do and that this is not his science project, so Halo 2 wins.
