The Barbie Stereotype
Brian Mandalay
A so called problem facing our society today is the Barbie stereotype. You hear women always on the tv talking about how Barbie portrays women. I guess I don't see the problem because I absolutely love women that look like that. I personally love to see blond girls that have a body like Barbie. I bet if you asked 100 guys they would too. So is there really a problem? Hmmm. Seems to me that others are jealous.
The last point I would like to make is in response to those that say that a girl like Barbie doesn't even exist. I don't know where they've been hanging out because if you go to the short hills mall any weekend that's all you see is Barbies. You can't even look anywhere without seeing one, and so why shouldn't you be able to buy one when you're little? It's only teaching little girls what guys like and so that helps them grow into it. People that talk bad about Barbie don't think of that, they don't think of all the good she does for little girls to help them. I love Barbie and I love girls that look like her and I wish all girls did look like her. Wouldn't that be something.
