Assignment: Please write a letter to the celebrity/cultural figure of your choosing . The subject is entirely up to you; however, here a few suggestions, just to help you get started:

1. Let he or she know what he or she means to you,

2. You may request an autograph (don't be too pushy!)

3. Let he or she know that you are a student, illustrating your command of the business letter format (he or she may be impressed!).

4. Compliment his or her work (whether it be art, literature, politics, or acting work).

5. Don't forget to compliment your teacher!!!
