My hero my dad  - Marvin Pitts
People always say they are wanting to be better.  Not often they are but sometimes they have someone that makes them be better.  Either through just inspiring them or actually making them be better.  My dad is both.

He is first the best guy I know in as far as acting like he is not scared of anything.  He will always be the one that is going first and not ever back down.  Then he makes me sometimes go first by pushing me and that is why he is what he is.  Cause he is always pushing not just with his musles but with his words to.

He is not rich and we do not have all the things you see in the nice parts of town but he always says we got what we need and that is what we live by.  Yeah we all want nicer things but do we need them.  I respect my dad for that and will always remember that when I have my own family that we will not always need what we want.

We are proud of each other, he is proud of what I do on the court and I am proud of what he do in his job.  He is always working late to make sure his job gets done and sometimes by what he don't do.  That is our bond and that is stronger than what anyone says.

So that is why my dad is my hero and I know he would say it to.
